The deceased has been identified as Mayuresh Kharche, while his grandfather has been identified as Nivrutti Kharche. Reports state that the grandfather threw the child from the balcony in anger after an argument with his daughter-in-law. In a shocking case, the Vakola police on Monday arrested an 80-year-old man for allegedly killing his three-year-old grandson by allegedly throwing him off from the balcony of his sixth floor flat. Reports state that Kharche felt Surekha was not taking proper care of him. Surekha later registered a case against Nivrutti alleging that he threw her son out of the balcony in anger.
