Purple-loving Westmere School teacher Julie Ann Hamilton, 67, was remembered by hundreds on Saturday after her sudden passing last week. It was so entwined with her character that Westmere School pupils dressed in purple on Friday to commemorate her. Westmere School principal Teresa Burn said Hamilton's sudden passing had sent a "shock wave" through the school community.
