In a press statement issued Wednesday, February 5, 2020, the ministry denied the said Instagram accounts being for the minister. “Attention has been drawn to the existence of Instagram accounts bearing the name Shirley Ayorkor Botchway. These accounts are been used to dupe unsuspecting members of the public both in Ghana and abroad. For the avoidance of doubt, Shirley Ayorkor Botchway is not on any social Media platform and has no Instagram account,” the statement read.
