The Joy Bangla Youth Award, now in its third year, is an inspiration to countless young people to truly change Bangladesh for the better. It is our youth who will be in charge of the country in the future, and the award recognises that. For example, recipients of the award include Keshob Roy and Fahima Khatun, who have done great work in the fields of women’s rights and education respectively. Additionally, the award highlights their stories, their struggles, their courage, which will no doubt inspire other young people throughout the nation. There are many more young people like Keshob and Fahima who are currently fighting the good fight in our country and the Joy Bangla Youth Award ensures that there will be many more to come in the future.
