Residents say they don't have anything against the church, but are concerned about the lack of consultation on the project. Residents of a quiet rural community are concerned about the building of a Christian camp they claim will bring "too much noise and traffic" to their peaceful valley. Mt Roskill Evangelical Fellowship is planning to build a Christian camp on Mairetahi Rd in Shelly Beach, north of Auckland. SUPPLIED Mt Roskill Evangalical Fellowship has won permission to build a camp in Shelly Beach that will host 300 people, 20 times a year. She was disappointed residents weren't properly consulted on the project "which will definitely have a direct impact to our lives".
