Arrest of minist­er's nephew reflec­ts depoli­ticisa­tion of police, says State Minist­er for Interi­orThe State Minister for Interior Shehryar Afridi’s nephew Talal Nadir Afridi has been booked for possessing drugs, Express News learnt on Monday. Afridi was arrested after half a kilogram of drugs was recovered from his car. Reacting to the arrest, the state minister said that no one was above the law not even relatives of ministers. Earlier, PML-N lawmaker Hina Peraviz Butt submitted a resolution in the Punjab Assembly to condemn the discovery of drugs from state minister’s nephew. A three-member bench, headed by Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar, was hearing a suo motu case pertaining to selling of drugs at educational institutions.
