Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz President and Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif on Friday decided to host a dinner in honour of the opposition leaders in Islamabad on May 24. Former president and Pakistan People’s Party Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl supremo, and Pakistan Democratic Movement President Maulana Fazlur Rehman have been invited to the dinner. Parliamentary leaders from the Awami National Party and other parties have also been invited, INP reported. Talking about the NRO, Shehbaz questioned the logic behind this argument, saying what kind of deal could they have possibly made when they were facing jails. Shehbaz lamented that the government had deteriorated the economy, adding that poverty and inflation had made people’s lives miserable.
