KARACHI: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President and Opposition Leader in National Assembly (NA) Shehbaz Sharif and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Wednesday expressed their reservations against the silence of the international community towards the situation in Kashmir. In a message on Youm-e-Istehsal, Shehbaz demanded the United Nations (UN) to take action for self-determination of people living in Indian occupied Kashmir. The PML-N leader said that depriving Kashmiris of their democratic and legal rights is against the Charter of UN. Meanwhile, in his message in connection with the Youm-e-Istehsal, Bilawal said that the military siege of Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK) would not conquer the aspirations of people of the bleeding valley. The PPP leader said that the silence maintained by the international community over Indian atrocities in IOK had raised the concerns of human rights activists worldwide.
