Mikel Arteta is expected to overhaul his squad over the summer after a dismal season which has seen the north London club languishing in mid-table for the majority of the campaign. The Gunners are currently down in ninth place in the Premier League table with just two games to go, meaning they face the possibility of a first season without European football in 25 years. Berge, who has made just 15 Premier League appearances for the Blades this term having missed large parts of the season through injury, is said to have a release clause of £35million. Liverpool, Aston Villa and Everton are thought to be among the other Premier League clubs interested in signing the player from the relegated Blades.
