Firefighters were called to the fire on Savills Rd about 4.40am on Wednesday. Firefighters have contained a fire at a shed near Christchurch International Airport. Fire and Emergency New Zealand spokesman Brent Dunn said firefighters were called to the fire on Savills Rd, near Pound Rd, about 4.40am on Wednesday. There were no reports of any people inside or near the shed at the time of the fire, Dunn said. There were no reports of flight delays on the Christchurch International Airport website.
