Nairobi woman representative Rachel Shebesh and Runyenjes MP Cecily Mbarire have criticised Kiambu Governor William Kabogo over his remarks that Mt Kenya region might not back Deputy President William Ruto in 2022. They said Mt Kenya region is fully behind the Jubilee administration and they will back Ruto to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta. They said Kenyans have decided on the next President in 2022, hence the sentiments by Kabogo lacked basis. They spoke at Lorna Laboso Memorial Girls’ school in Sotik on Friday.
