Dineshwar Sharma with the public in Anantnag on Tuesday. more-inDineshwar Sharma, Special Representative appointed by the Union government, met civil society groups in Anantnag in south Kashmir on Tuesday, with talk veering around “continuation and expansion of dialogue to separatists”. At least 27 delegations met Mr. Sharma during a day-long interaction with civil society groups, including a number of youth organisations. Representatives of a youth organisation, “Be The Change”, asked Mr. Sharma to institutionalise the dialogue process for a peaceful resolution of the Kashmir issue. Sources said that besides the dialogue process, the delegates pitched for hydroelectric projects and an end to “repression of youth”.
