more-inTraffic restrictions will be in place in the city from Sunday to Thursday in view of the visit of Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, the ruler of Sharjah and member of the Supreme Council of the United Arab Emirates. Restrictions will be imposed on vehicular flow and parking along the route passing through Shangumughom, All Saints, Chakka, Vazhamuttom, Vellar and Kovalam from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. On September 27 and 28, strict restrictions will be in place along Kovalam, Vellar, Vazhamuttom, Thiruvallam, Kumarichantha, Kallummoodu, Enchakkal, Chakka, All Saints and Shangumughom in the morning and evening. Parking has been prohibited along Kowdiar-Vellayambalam-Museum-RR Lamp-VJT-Asan Square-General Hospital-Pettah-Chakka, Vellayambalam-Vazhuthacaud-Thycaud, and Airport-Chakka-Enchakkal-Kovalam bypass routes on the days.
