The special prayers were said at the iconic Mount Arafat. During the prayers, the National Chief Imam placed much premium on a free, fair, and peaceful election devoid of any acrimony, insecurity, and violence. For his part, the Chairman of the Pilgrims Affairs Office of Ghana, Abdul Rauf Tanko Ibrahim, expressed gratitude to the National Chief Imam and all those who offered prayers at the gathering. He congratulated all pilgrims for observing the Hajj, emphasising that Hajj without being at Arafat was invalid according to the sayings of Prophet Muhammad.
