When Shaquille O’Neal launched his first-ever Shaq’s Fun House earlier this year, he lured performers from Steve Aoki to Diplo; the event culminated with the NBA Hall of Famer giving the Patriots’ Rob Gronkowski a viral piggy-back ride. It’s only fitting that the sequel will be held somewhere Gronk surely wants to go: Atlanta during Super Bowl weekend. Shaq’s Fun House will go up against a bevy of entertainment programming including the Bud Light Super Bowl Music Fest a dozen miles away at the State Farm Arena, which boasts three nights of programming from January 31 to February 2. In between—and head-to-head with Shaq’s Fun House—are Aerosmith and Post Malone (the latter recently promised to “get weird and turn up boiiiii.”)Shaq’s Fun House, planned by his music managers Joe Silberzweig and Adam Richman, is unusual in its own way. Though Shaq should have scores of such adherents on hand in Atlanta, one of his biggest fans—Gronkowski—may have to sit out the festivities if the Patriots make it to the Super Bowl.
