Mashrafe bin Mortaza, who had 264 wickets in ODIs before Sunday, was the first man to achieve the feat for the Tigers. Shakib picked up his 250th wicket Sunday when he cleaned up South African opener Aiden Markram in their World Cup match at the Oval. Shakib, who has made 5,792 runs in 199 ODIs so far, has become only the fifth cricketer to get 250 wickets and score over 5,000 runs in ODIs. Sanath Jayasuriya (Sri Lanka), Jacques Kallis (South Africa), Abdul Razzaq (Pakistan) and Shahid Afridi (Pakistan) are the other four players who have achieved the feat.
