Shakib took part in the warm-up session and also underwent fielding sessions. The left-hander then batted in the nets for more than half an hour before bowling in the nets for a while. Shakib is in tremendous form with the bat for Bangladesh as he scored 121, 64 and 75 in his last three matches in the World Cup against England, New Zealand and South Africa respectively. Before their fourth match against Sri Lanka, it was revealed that Shakib has a grade one tear in his left thigh and needed rest for a few days.
