Shakey's Pizza Asia Ventures Inc. said it is on the road to recovery as it seeks to introduce 30 additional stores within the year. The restaurant chain looks to open 15 Shakey's stores and 15 Peri-Peri stores this year. "We are greatly encouraged to see sequential recovery in our system-wide sales compared to pre-pandemic periods in 2019," he continued. Shakey's posted a positive income growth for the second consecutive quarter in January to March as it netted P29 million. The firm said its profit was driven by the P1.7-billion system-wide sales, which is equivalent to a 67-percent recovery of 2019 pre-pandemic sales.
