NEW DELHI: Actor Shah Rukh Khan was detained at Los Angeles airport by the US immigration department officials on Friday.The actor took to social micro-blogging site Twitter to share the news with his followers. "This is not the first time that the Bollywood actor has been detained at a US airport.In 2012, Shah Rukh Khan was detained at New York airport for over two hours by immigration officials. The US customs and border protection authorities had expressed "profound" apologies for the Shah Rukh Khan's detention then. I even told them I had an invitation from the South Asian community and was there to attend an event." The immigration guys kicked the star out of stardom," Khan had said with some sarcasm about his detention.In 2009 also, Khan was detained by US immigration officials at Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey because his name came up on a computer alert list.
