A Shar Pei dog who fell from a 500ft cliff and survived for 45 days by living off seaweed and rock moisture has made a miraculous full recovery. The beloved pet dog, now two years old, survived by eating seaweed and licking rocks for moisture on the sloping cliff. Shadow the Shar Pei, pictured after being treated for a broken legHe underwent surgery at a vets to remove sticks, stones and dried seaweed from his stomach and had an operation to mend a leg he broke in the fall. Mrs Whiting, a 39-year-old carer, said: 'Shadow is back to full health and has recovered from his injuries, having just finished his physio. 'He survived by eating anything he could as he's had stones, sticks and dried seaweed removed from his stomach.
