Operation Linda Boni director James ole Seriani revealed that Kenyan recruits are no longer trusted by the militants in Somalia and are suspected to be government spies. “We have reports that at least six Kenyan youth who had joined Al-Shabaab in Somalia were killed between March and April this year alone,” he said. "Most Kenyan recruits are no longer trusted by the militia group; they are suspected to be Kenyan government spies. “For the past seven months we haven’t experienced any attacks or attempts from Al-Shabaab,” Mr Seriani said.
