A 58-year-old woman with good past health, who is the sister-in-law of the 34-year-old female patient from Luk Chuen House, Lek Yuen Estate, Sha Tin has been diagnosed as infected with the coronavirus, health officials said. The woman is the elder sister of the 56-year-old male patient who was confirmed to be infected on May 31. During treatment at Prince onf Wales Hospital, the woman's nasopharyngeal swabs and throat swabs collected on May 31 and June 1 tested negative for the coronavirus. Her fever later subsided and she was discharged on June 2 and then was transferred to the quarantine center, the CHP said. Also, 1,060 patients have recovere including five more coronavirus patients discharged from hospital in the past 24 hours.
