(File photo)A jury have been asked to consider whether a physiotherapist on trial for inappropriately touching two patients was “hands-on or had wandering hands”. The physio, who has interim name suppression, is on trial in the Nelson District Court facing five charges of indecent assault against two female clients between 2013 and 2016. In her closing address on Friday, Crown prosecutor Sophie O’Donoghue​ said it was up to the jury to decide whether the man intentionally touched the two women in a sexual manner with indecent intent. O’Donoghue said the man, an “experienced, senior, male physio”, “touched both women in areas they should not have been touched”.
