“Most of the time, the stars of the team are the forwards and the people scoring all the goals,” Garden said. “I don’t have that star this year; I have multiple scorers and multiple assisters, but my... backfield play was incredible. They steadfastly, every game, were the reason we were in games. We didn’t have that go-to goal scorer to count on. But in every game, [our defense] stood tall for us.”
