The City of Toronto is under a severe thunderstorm warning Saturday night following a severe heat warning earlier this evening. According to Environment Canada, a line of strong to severe thunderstorms is moving through southwestern Ontario, reaching Toronto and much of the GTA. Environment Canada cautioned that downpours suddenly reducing visibility to near zero are possible and people in the area should be on the lookout for severe weather conditions and take safety precautions, if necessary.
