Shortly before 9 p.m. Friday, Environment Canada issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Winnipeg. Meteorologists are tracking a line of severe storms stretching from the Gimli area southwest towards St. Agathe. The areas in yellow are under a severe thunderstorm watch in Manitoba Friday afternoon. The severe weather threat will continue to shift east this evening, an Environment Canada alert said.
