Several vigils and prayer services are planned around Southern California on Sunday to commemorate the victims of the Orlando, Fla., nightclub shootings. The Brady Campaign to End Gun Violence, Women Against Gun Violence and the Violence Prevention Coalition of Greater Los Angeles are the organizers. The vigil is sponsored by the Los Angeles chapter of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community. A public vigil is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at Harvey Milk Park at 212 E. 3rd St. in Long Beach. The LGBT Center in Orange County will hold a vigil at 6:30 p.m. at the corner of 4th and French streets.
