A seven-week-old puppy with only two legs has gotten a second lease on life after being “dumped like trash” behind a Toronto apartment building. Dubbed Cupid for his heart-shaped nose, the pup is a wiggling ball of energy after being treated by Dog Rescuers Inc. in Toronto. They gave him a second shot at life after another rescue said the bright-eyed fluffball was “unadoptable.”“Cupid was found in Toronto, behind a building, in the garbage, dumped like trash,” Joan Znidarec, president of the rescue organization said. The group plans to get him prosthetic legs and are hoping to find an owner willing to help this otherwise health puppy cope with his special needs. She said Cupid has already found a way to adapt to his disability \: “He looks like a seal as he’s going along, hops like a seal.”
