Seven injured in serious Hutt Valley crashCSABA CEGLEDI Emergency crews working at one of the crash sites. The road closed in Upper Hutt because of a crash that injured seven people has been reopened. A second crash involved a car and a cyclist and took place about 1.10pm at the Stokes Valley and Eastern Hutt roundabout, in Lower Hutt. Police earlier said four people had been injured in the serious crash on the stretch of road between the Silverstream intersection and Gibbons Street, but have upgraded that to seven, with injuries ranging from moderate to critical. The crash happened near the Whakatiki Street turnoff on State Highway 2 about 12:45pm on Saturday.
