According to Rabiul Haque Majumdar, headmaster of Fulgazi Bandua Daulatpur High School, seven students passed out together upon entering the classroom after singing the national anthem on Monday morning. The girls were admitted to Fulgazi Upazila Health Complex, where the medical officer, Dr Sharfuddin Mahmud, said it may have been caused by mass hysteria induced by changes in weather patterns or mental health. The girls were later shifted to Feni Sadar Hospital for observation.
