Darongkorn Somton, the director of the 12th Irrigation Office issued the warning to the governors of Uthai Thani, Chainat, Singburi, Angthong, Suphan Buri, Ayutthaya and Lop Buri. The warning said the dam had to release the water at the rate of 1,101 cubic metres per second, an increase of 201 cbms from Wednesday. The warning letter said the rate is expected to rise to 1,300 cbms to cope with the rising level of the water that flew into the dam.
