Seven die in matatu-lorry collision in ChepsirSeven people have died and several others injured in a road accident at Chepsir, Kericho county. The five men and two women were on board a 14 seater South Rift Sacco matatu travelling from Nakuru towards Kericho. Witnesses say that the driver of the ill fated vehicle lost control of the car before hitting an oncoming lorry head on. Those who were injured in the evening incident were rushed to various hospitals for treatment. Residents say the accident might have been caused by the sharp bends, and that a heavy downpour may have affected the driver's vision.
