Seven Sharp viewers have been left hanging after a fire alarm and building evacuation at TVNZ cut the broadcast short. Staff were evacuated from the building on Auckland's Victoria St West following a fire alarm in the ad break of Seven Sharp on Tuesday evening. Office staff evacuated at around 7.20pm, during the second ad break of the Seven Sharp programme. During the ad break, TVNZ viewers received a message on their screens saying the show had an unscheduled interruption. Seven Sharp host Hilary Barry tweeted about the evacuation.
