Dear Liz,My company has some biases that make it hard for me and my fellow hiring managers to hire great people. To me, it's a snobby approach that keeps our company from hiring amazing candidates who merely attended a lower-tier school. The other thing they do at my company is reject candidates who have changed jobs too often. They toss out candidates who look amazing in my view, only because they've worked at some of their past jobs for less than four or five years. If you agree with me, I'd love to be able to share your thoughts with my boss and our HR VP.
