JOHOR BARU: Seven teenagers were detained near Dataran Bandaraya on Saturday where a protest was to be held against a car driver involved in an accident which killed seven teenage cyclists on Feb 22. The protest, to urge the police to take action against the woman driver, however, did not materialise. The seven boys were earlier seen riding their bicycles near Dataran Bandaraya. Johor Baru South OCPD Asst Comm Sulaiman Salleh said the boys were brought in for questioning. On Feb 22, police detained an 18-year-old boy, who was believed to have issued an invitation to others to gather at Dataran Bandaraya at 8am to protest against the driver.
