President William Ruto now says that serving in the Kenya Defence Forces is beyond just a career in the military. Speaking during the Cadet Commissioning Parade at the Kenya Military Academy in Lanet, Ruto said it is dedication and sacrifice. The President said that their graduating officers are also embracing a sacred calling to lead in all circumstances. "As you take up your oath today, to commission into the esteemed officer cadre of the Kenya Defence Forces, always remember the path you have chosen always transcends mere career. He said it is full of challenges that only the very best can overcome all officers graduating have demonstrated that.
