Services of CRS outlets suspended amid MECQ – The Manila Times

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) on Tuesday announced that the frontline services of civil registration system (CRS) outlets in areas under modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) would be suspended for two weeks. In an advisory, the statistics agency said such services “shall be closed [to] the processing of requests for copy issuance of civil registry documents (birth, marriage and death certificates, as well as certification of no marriage record or advisory on marriages) until 18 August 2020.” It added that clients could file their applications for PSA-issued documents online at www.psaserbilis.com.ph. “Please note, however, that processing and delivery of documents in areas under MECQ may take longer in view of reduced work force and limited transportation facilities.”ANNA LEAH E.
