A drive-by shooter remains on the loose after an incident in Hutt Valley early on Sunday morning. The victim, a 21-year-old man, suffered serious injuries but was in a stable condition following the incident at Hanson Gr, Stokes Valley about 2.30am on Sunday, police said. At the Stokes Valley cul-de-sac a crime scene tent has been set up in front of a house and the end of the road has been cordoned off. A neighbour, who would not be named, said she heard no shots but did hear a man "swearing his head off" and shouting a woman's name. The shooter, who shot from a moving car, was still being sought by police on Sunday morning.
