DHAKA, March 14, 2026 (BSS) — Despite being outclassed in the previous game, Bangladesh refused to give up hope as they take on Pakistan in the series-deciding third ODI at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium tomorrow (Sunday). The hosts won the first match by eight wickets after bowling Pakistan out for just 114 runs. Bangladesh batters failed to maintain the sustained aggression required to win such a curtailed match. If Pakistan’s batters continue in the same vein in the third match, Bangladesh may once again find themselves in trouble while chasing the series. Bangladesh captain Mehidy Hasan Miraz, however, pointed to his team’s own shortcomings rather than Pakistan’s resurgence.
