If you followed the first season of the podcast Serial with bated breath (and likely fell off the radar with its subpar second season), you’ll be enthused to know that Ira Glass, Sarah Koenig and Julie Snyder, the producers behind the series, will be launching an entirely new podcast this spring titled S-Town. It will be another non-fiction limited series, this time revolving around rural Alabama, and will be released simultaneously in March, reports Rolling Stone. “This story takes so many unexpected turns,” Glass said in a statement. And the story has this feeling and mood that’s different from anything else we’ve done. The subject of Serial’s third season has yet to be revealed.
