NEW YORK (WBTV) - A serial killer with ties to South Carolina pled guilty Wednesday to murdering seven women and hiding their bodies at Gilgo Beach in New York. CNN reported Heuermann admitted he strangled the women and then hid their remains on Long Island. The Chester County Sheriff’s Office said after Heuermann’s arrest that it was asked to help gather evidence in South Carolina. That led to the seizure of a truck, which neighbors said belonged to Heuermann’s brother. Gilgo Beach serial killer Rex Heuermann owned property in Chester County, S.C.
