The chefs Eddie Zheng and Olivia Leung — both graduates of the Institute of Culinary Education, with credentials from places like Dominique Ansel and La Sirena — offer monaka ice cream sandwiches in flavors like buckwheat and corn encased in crisp shells. Tidy dorayaki honey pancakes have fillings that include matcha cream and seared banana, and apple confit with mascarpone. They’re just getting going, Mr. Zheng said, and they expect to add more desserts soon: The Little One, 150 East Broadway (Rutgers Street), no phone, no website.
