September is shaping up to be a busy month for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kincardine and District. Yolanda Ritsema, executive director at BBBS, says right now there are 15 youth, 10 boys and five girls, on the waiting list. To find matches for these, and future children, BBBS will be hosting the 30 Mentors in 30 days campaign during Big Brothers Big Sisters Month. Schools included in the launch of the In-School Mentoring program are KTTPS, Huron Heights, KDSS, Elgin Market and Ripley-Huron Community School. Other activities planned for Big Brothers Big Sisters Month include the Golf Fore Kid’s Sake golf tournament, presented by NPX and played at Blackhorse Golf Club.
