The BSE benchmark Sensex index might touch an all time-high as the Bhartiya Janata Party has been inching towards the victory in Karnataka polls. At 1:13 PM, Sensex was trading in green at 35,690.48, up by 124.98 points while Nifty was beyond 10,840.65 mark. Around 1:14 PM, according to the trends, BJP was running ahead over 100 seats while Congress struggled at 70. BJP looks all set to form the next government in Karnataka as the saffron party has been inching towards the halfway mark. Initially, it turned out to be a neck-and-neck fight between BJP and Congress, but BJP was always found leading from the beginning.
