Mumbai, Feb 6 : The BSE Sensex on Tuesday rallied 454.67 pts to close high at 72,186.09 on the strength of Oil and Gas, IT, Telecommunications and Energy stocks. During the day it was spurted 530 pts at 72,261.40, days high, before closing at 72,186.09, rallied 454.67 pts from its previous close. The stocks include Oil and Gas, IT, Energy and Telecommunications stocks kept the up. Oil and gas went up by 3.02 pc, IT by 2.94 pc, Telecommunications by 2.17 pc and Energy by 2.07 pc. The losers were Powergrid by 2.74 pc to Rs 275, IndusInd Bank by 1.64 pc to Rs 1554, ITC by 1.45 pc to Rs 431.70 and Kotak Bank by 1.03 pc to Rs 1791.
