Tata Motors emerged as the top gainer (5.08%) while IDBI Bank lost the most (3.95%) on the index.The S&P BSE Midcap gained 0.17% to settle at 13,000.15. Mphasis was the top gainer (4.73%) while Piramal Enterprises (6.08%) lost the most.However, S&P BSE Smallcap fell 0.12% to close at 12487.12. At the time of writing, the London's FTSE100 was trading 0.02 per cent lower, while the German DAX was down 0.24 per cent.
