NEW DELHI: The S&P BSE Sensex starts on a positive note in morning trade on Thursday ahead of August F&O expiry. It touched a high of 28,137.93 and a low of 28,097.77 in morning trade.The Nifty50 was trading at 8,673 up 23 points or 0.27 per cent. It touched a high of 8,675.90 and a low of 8,664.05 in the first 30 minutes of trade. The S&P500 index closed at 2,175, down 11.46 points or 0.52 per cent. Brent crude prices fell 1.90 per cent, or 95 cents, to $49.01.
