Ottawa Senators defenceman Erik Karlsson leads the list of Norris Trophy finalists, the NHL announced on Friday. Karlsson, a two-time Norris winner, is joined by San Jose Sharks defenceman Brent Burns and Lightning blue-liner Victor Hedman. Brent Burns finished third in Norris voting last season and is coming off another highly productive campaign with the Sharks. The 2016 Norris Trophy race saw Karlsson place second in voting behind winner Drew Doughty of the Los Angeles Kings. The Tampa Bay Lightning appeared to have accidentally posted the news release announcing the Norris Trophy finalists on Friday before taking the post off their website.
