more-inCiting the reservation Bill passed by both Houses of the legislature and awaiting the President’s nod, the State government has sought three months from the Supreme Court to publish a consolidated seniority list of its employees. The government was expected to publish the seniority list before January 15, as per the directions of the SC in September 2017. However, with some departments yet to finalise their seniority lists, the government has been unable to publish the comprehensive list, a source said. Meanwhile, sources in the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms (DPAR) said that letters have been sent to all department seeking the status of their seniority lists. The DPAR wants to keep a consolidated list ready when the matter comes up for hearing, sources added.
