The body of the officer was discovered in the early hours of Friday, March 13, 2026, after his wife, Mavis Boateng, reportedly found him lying motionless on the kitchen floor at about 5:00 a.m. Investigators also found the officer’s service pistol placed on a kitchen stool close to the body.
